Vendor Spotlight: Shortnin’ Bread
This just in from Pastry Chef Justina Fenton and Keith Russell, Owners of the brand new, farmers market launched Artisan Bakery, Shortnin’ Bread! They are introducing several items at the market this week, but I am most excited about the Granola!
Shortnin Bread would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year!
This Sunday we will be adding new items to our selection and we are very excited about sharing this news with you!
Our normal staple of Short Breads will be available in Plain, Brown Sugar with Pecan and Valhrona Cocoa with the new addition this week of a Green Tea Short Bread!
Also new this week will be Honey Almond Granola with Flax and Sunflower seeds, Pink Lady Apple Tarts, and something incredible for peanut butter lovers – Shortnin Bread Nutter Butters!! Working on a Blueberry bar this week that we also hope to have available.
Lastly, the infamous Sour Cream-Orange Coffee Cake with cranberries and a semi sweet chocolate-pecan streusel topping is back! See you at the market!

The farm, Parks farm is located in Riverside. They grow fruit year-round (apples, pears, peaches, nectarines, oranges, Jujubes, and much more). Welcome them to the market!

We are lucky to have Chef Gregg Denter at the market! His breakfast sandwiches and Banh Mi have quickly become a favorite fare. The freshest bread, bacon,a couple of fried eggs and a gorgonzola sauce is just one of the best ways to start your day! Look for a menu page with pre-order family style items to take home and stock the pantry with!!

Food-Nenas Gourmet Popcorn
Nenas Gourmet Popcorn is coming highly recommended from many expert popcorn tasters on the Longfellow PTA. We are thrilled to have them on our team tempting us with that combination of sweet and salty goodness! They will be selling kettle popcorn, caramel popcorn, cheese popcorn and butter popcorn.
Robert Sapp, Owner and Operator of Peanut Dudes.com, will be at our market every Sunday. Peanut Dudes sells GOURMET NUTS. Freshly roasted and packed. They stand behind their product to be the best in taste and quality. Robert has been in business for years. And has been there to provide a quality product for his customers. Stop by and say hello!

Through her company Bards Art, web designer Barbara Holbrook has helped Long Beach businesses and organizations get online. She comes to the Long Beach Sunday Market monthly to lead workshops on Wordpress, a free content management system for building and maintaining websites.
We met at the We Love LB breakfast for Bixby Knolls...I fell in love with the artistry. They are amazing artists, incredible designs and are the nicest people ever! One of my favorites was on a little Irwin and when he closed his eyes they had painted yellow alien cat eyes on his eye lids!!
