Thanks to a grant from the Connected Corridor and the hard work and vision of many many people (who will be formally listed and thanked elsewhere on the site), we are able to start this Sunday Market for our community and create an ongoing income project to benefit the local schools.
To reach our full potential as a weekly we will need input and involvement from the community. Please leave a comment on this post if you would like to participate. We will be hosting workshops on cooking, gardening, recycling and art. There will be space available for local schools, clubs, scouts, guilds, districts, agencies, PTAs, and associations to spread the word on their events and good deeds.
We plan to have a chess club, tot lot and entertainment, but the farmers and food vendors will be the mainstay of this event.
