Pie Baking Contest:
It’s not too late to enter the pie baking contest! Just register on the “about” page with pie contest in the subject line and let us know you plan to bring your pie and your recipe to market.
Chess Club:
Come out and play chess over the board with other chess enthusiasts! The game is on from 10:00am – 12:noon. If you would like to bring your own boards…please do! We will have a spot reserved for chess players every Sunday. Sign up for workshops and instruction at the market. Dates and times for workshops will be determined. Chess at the Market is sponsored by Project Oasis.
We Love Long Beach:
We Love LB will be joining us! We Love LB hosted a breakfast for Bixby Knolls last month and in addition to all the good deeds they are also sponsoring a new craft fair in Long Beach! The Patchwork Craft fair from the OC is coming to the LBC on Sunday November 29th. Local Long Beach Handmade Enthusiast, Business Owner and Patchwork vendor The Outfit will be on hand to say hey to the BK. Stop by their booth to find out about the Patchwork Craft Fair, The Outfit and We Love LB!!
Long Beach Boot Camp:
Shannon Paul’s Long Beach Boot Camp is signed up to be a market sponsor! Come out and chat up the fitness drill sergeants about your workout habits, goals and dreams. They will be on hand to discuss their programs and upcoming fitness events like the Turket Trot on Thanksgiving Day!!
